EU and NATO military presence on borders with Russia and Belarus should be increased – Tusk

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk believes that it is worth considering increasing the presence of EU and NATO troops on the border with Russia and Belarus.

"Today we are talking a lot about security guarantees for Ukraine. But to truly offer security guarantees to others, we must be safe ourselves. Therefore, the first thing we must do in Europe is to fully secure our own borders, especially with Russia and Belarus.
This primarily means ensuring the security of the Baltic region, airspace and cyberspace. These are the factors that will determine our security, and when they are in place, we will be able to provide better and more effective support to Ukraine," the Polish Prime Minister said.
