Zelenskyy to visit South Africa on April 10 for talks with Ramaphosa - Bloomberg

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit South Africa on April 10 and hold talks with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on the peace process.

According to the spokesman for the South African President, Vincent Magwenya, this meeting is part of Ramaphosa's ongoing diplomatic contacts with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky within the framework of the initiative for a peaceful settlement of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
As noted, South Africa takes a non-aligned position on the conflict and has previously promoted the idea of mediation. In particular, two years ago, Ramaphosa initiated a peace mission with the participation of six African countries, which did not yield results.
