US President Donald Trump has said that he wants to end the war in Ukraine first, and then make decisions on security guarantees.

"Before I even think about it, I want to settle the war, to end it. Because if I'm not here, no one will end it... That's all I'm thinking about now. As for the security issue later, that's the easy part. The hardest part is to settle this issue. We have to get it done," Trump said.
