Russia and Ukraine, get to table now, before it’s too late – Trump

US President Trump is threatening Russia with large-scale sanctions if it does not come to the negotiating table with Ukraine.

He wrote about this on his social network Truth Social, Censor.NET reports.

"Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely "pounding" Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I am strongly considering the possibility of imposing large-scale banking sanctions, sanctions and tariffs against Russia until a ceasefire and final settlement on peace is reached," the American president said.

He once again called on the two countries to start peace talks.

"Russia and Ukraine, get to the table right now before it's too late," Trump added.
