EU is already preparing 17th package of sanctions against Russia - Kallas
The European Union is increasing pressure on Russia and is already preparing a 17th package of sanctions against the aggressor country.
This was announced on Monday in Brussels during a press conference following the EU Foreign Affairs Council by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"No one in Europe wants the war to continue, and no one wants the war to continue less than Ukrainians. They want to achieve peace on their own territory. That is why we must be really strong in our actions against the aggressor and achieve peace through force. The EU stands by Ukraine, we promised it, and we are doing it. Today we have taken important decisions, including the 16th package of sanctions, which includes several important points, and we continue to work on the 17th package," Kallas emphasized.
