Netherlands allocates 700 million euros for drones for Ukraine – Umerov after meeting with Brekelmans

During a working visit to the Netherlands, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with his colleague Ruben Brekelmans.
This is reported by the Ministry of Defense, Censor.NET informs.
"I am glad to meet with my friend, Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans. The Netherlands is among the leaders of support for Ukraine, and this support remains unchanged," Umerov emphasized.
In particular, the topic of the talks was the 700 million euros that the Netherlands is allocating to Ukraine for a project to develop and produce drones.
"Development of the Drone Line. We discussed this important project, which helps to scale up modern combat experience. The Netherlands is ready to support it and contribute to its expansion," said the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
In addition, the parties discussed strengthening air defense, which remains a priority in cooperation.
"We discussed concrete steps that will help Ukraine more effectively counter Russian missile and drone attacks. I am grateful to Ruben Brekelmans and the entire team of the Dutch Ministry of Defense for their clear position, quick decisions and real assistance," the Ministry of Defense added.
