Rubio to meet with Ukraine’s representatives in Saudi Arabia - State Department

On March 10-12, 2025, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Saudi Arabia. He is scheduled to meet with representatives of the Ukrainian delegation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine previously noted that the talks between Ukraine and the United States in Saudi Arabia would focus on bilateral relations and the path to peace.
"U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on March 10-12 for talks with his Ukrainian counterparts to advance the President's goal of ending the Russian-Ukrainian war," the State Department said in a statement.
While in Jeddah, Rubio will also meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to discuss ways to advance common interests in the region and strengthen U.S.-Saudi relations.
As a reminder, on March 8, Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed the composition of the Ukrainian delegation that will travel to Saudi Arabia next week for talks with the United States. According to him, Ukraine will be represented at the talks with the United States scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, in Saudi Arabia by the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa.
