US is trying to speed up arms deliveries to Taiwan - Bloomberg

The United States is trying to speed up arms shipments to Taiwan. This comes amid concerns in Taipei that the Trump administration has suspended military aid to Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, Bloomberg reports.
"We are actively working to accelerate delivery times, especially for asymmetric warfare-related equipment, as this is particularly important for Taiwan's defense," said Raymond Green, director of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT).
"If the war in Ukraine ends, we are expected to focus on Taiwan's defense needs again," he added.
Earlier on Monday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said that Beijing opposes "the United States selling arms to Taiwan."
She confirmed that the Taiwan issue is a "core interest" of China. and called on the United States to "stop provocations in the Taiwan Strait".
