US was not invited to Paris to discuss format of security forces for Ukraine - Associated Press

The United States was not invited to the summit of military representatives who will gather in Paris on 11 March to discuss the creation of an international security force for Ukraine.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
According to the Associated Press, the United States was not invited to the summit, as European countries want to demonstrate that they are able to take responsibility for maintaining peace in Ukraine after the ceasefire.
At the summit, the military will discuss how an international security force, proposed by France and Britain, should prevent a repeat large-scale Russian offensive after a possible cessation of hostilities.
According to a French official in the know, the security force could include heavy weapons and strategic stockpiles that could be deployed quickly - within hours or days - to support Ukraine's defence in the event of a Russian ceasefire violation.
In the second part of the meeting, ‘more precise and specific’ discussions are planned, during which participants will be invited to express the readiness and capabilities of their military structures to participate in the initiative.
However, the final decision on participation in the mission will be made at the political level by the heads of state.
