Russians attacked 2 cars with drones in Sumy region: 2 people wounded

On March 16, Russian forces attacked cars with drones in two communities in the Sumy region. Two people were injured.

This was reported by the press service of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office, Censor.NET reports.

Under the procedural supervision of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on March 16, 2025, during the day, the occupiers attacked two vehicles with drones in the Sumy district.

Myropillia community

  • An FPV drone hit a vehicle delivering bread. A 48-year-old passenger was injured.

Bilopillia community

  • a drone attacked a car, injuring the 31-year-old driver.

"Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling," the statement said.

As a reminder, on March 13, the Defense Council of the Sumy region introduced a mandatory evacuation of the population from 8 settlements of Yunakivka and Miropillia communities in the Sumy direction.
