Six arsonists who carried out Russian orders in Kyiv and Cherkasy region detained - Prosecutor General’s Office. PHOTOS

Under the procedural supervision of the Kyiv City and Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Offices, six citizens who committed arsons on the order of the enemy were served suspicion notices.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Prosecutor General's Office.

As noted, depending on the crimes committed, they are charged with obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces, sabotage, intentional damage to property and illegal handling of explosives (Article 114-1(1), Article 113(2), Article 28(2), Article 194(2), Article 263(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, two men in the Pechersk district of Kyiv burned a Mercedes Vito car ordered by the enemy. One of them received money on his bank card to buy petrol, which his accomplices used to set fire to the car.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, a man and a girl poured fire starter on the hood of a Volkswagen Lt and set it on fire.

"A resident of Smila set fire to a critical infrastructure facility of Ukrzaliznytsia in the Cherkasy region. A few weeks later, he tried to plant explosives under a concrete bridge in the city of Smila with 4 kilograms of explosives that he had made himself at home," the statement said.

In turn, a resident of the Zvenyhorod district received an assignment from a representative of the Russian special services via Telegram and set fire to one of the local courts in the Cherkasy region.

In all cases, the arsonists had to report on the results of their "work" by taking photos and videos.

Currently, all the persons involved in the above-mentioned episodes have been detained. They have been chosen a measure of restraint in the form of pre-trial detention.
