Russians are actively trying to move equipment to western bank of Oskil River - OSGT "Khortytsia"

Occupiers are trying to move equipment across Oskil

The Russians have become more active on the Lyman and Kupyansk directions, and although there are not so many clashes, the occupiers are making quite active attempts to transfer equipment to the western bank of the Oskil River

According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, this was stated on television by the spokesman for the OSGT "Khortytsia" Viktor Trehubov.

"Russians have become more active in the Lyman and Kupyansk directions. The number of clashes is statistically small, but there are quite active attempts by Russians to move equipment to the western bank of the Oskil River. In other words, we have basically the same situation as we had around January. The directions are not changing much, the intensity and weather conditions are changing partially, but basically everything remains the same," said the spokesman.

He also noted that the situation remains active, in particular, in the Novopavlivka, Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors of the frontline. The Pokrovsk sector is also active at the moment, with the highest number of combat engagements with the occupiers.

"The only thing worth noting is that the situation in the Pokrovsk sector has become noticeably better for us and, accordingly, worse for the Russians, despite the fact that it remains their main target," the spokesman added.

Regarding whether the Russians are using new tactics in the area of responsibility of the OSGT "Khortytsia", Trehubov assured that there are no fundamental changes.

"Not fundamentally, because, let's just say, no ‘magic wand’ or new tactics have been invented yet that would allow to seriously change the situation. There are some issues with the technical use of certain equipment. You've probably seen the same roads covered with drone nets. You may have heard about the sharp growth of fibre-optic drones, including a new tactic of using them, when they (drones - Ed.) simply lie down somewhere near the object and take off when needed to simply reduce the distance to the target. The current state of the technical condition makes this possible, but it is not something so fundamental that it could change the course of hostilities or influence the war. There is a kind of evolution going on," Trehubov said.
