High Council of Justice dismisses former DACK head Vovk

Pavlo Vovk, a judge and former head of the liquidated Kyiv District Administrative Court, has been dismissed from his post.
This was reported by the High Council of Justice, Censor.NET informs.
"The implementation of this procedure was carried out on the basis of a submission by the Third Disciplinary Chamber of the High Council of Justice, which decided to bring judge Pavlo Vovk of the Kyiv District Administrative Court to disciplinary responsibility and to apply a disciplinary sanction in the form of a motion to dismiss the judge from office," the statement said.
What is known about Judge Pavlo Vovk
Pavlo Vovk is the last head of the Kyiv District Administrative Court, which was liquidated in December 2022.
On 7 June 2022, the NABU and the SAPO sent a case to court on the facts of conspiracy to seize state power, obstruct the work of the High Qualification Commission of Judges, as well as participation in a criminal organisation and abuse of influence by the chairman and judges of the Kyiv District Administrative Court in collusion with a number of other persons.
In addition to the head of the Kyiv District Administrative Court, Pavlo Vovk, ten other people are involved in this case "Vovk's tapes", including the deputy head of the DACK, Yevhen Ablov, judges of the DACK Ihor Pohrebnychenko, Ihor Kachur, Bohdan Sanin, Oleksii Ohurtsov, Volodymyr Keleberda, former head of the State Judicial Administration Zenovii Kholodniuk, and two lawyers. In fact, this organisation made customised decisions in its own interests, as well as in the interests of political elites and business circles.
