According to Censor.NET with reference to Novinky, this was stated by Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
"We know that Russia needs four to six years to prepare for another war, and this is the time we need to prepare," Fiala said.
According to the prime minister, Europe has received a clear signal from the new US administration of Donald Trump that it must take care of its own defense and start arming itself more, strengthening its economy and internal security, and expelling illegal migrants without compromise.
"We must have something in our hands to deter Russia," the Prime Minister said. He added that the only thing left is to grit our teeth and invest in our own defense.
According to the prime minister, Europe should revise its green policy, the so-called Green Deal, and invest in armaments instead of decarbonization.
"The enemies are not waiting for Europe to complete its green transition," Fiala said.
He added that "it is necessary to put carbon dioxide in the background" and patents and the production of tanks and airplanes in the foreground.
As a reminder, Putin has demanded that all arms supplies to Ukraine be suspended for the duration of the ceasefire.
