Dutch Prime Minister Schoof talks to Erdogan to discuss support for Ukraine and situation in Syria
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof had a conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, discussing the war in Ukraine, European security and the situation in Syria.
He wrote about this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.
"First, we discussed the war in Ukraine, the importance of unwavering support in the fight against the Russian aggressor, and European security. Turkey can help provide security guarantees, which will be a key condition for a stable and lasting peace in Ukraine," he said.
In addition to the situation in Ukraine, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands and the President of Turkey also discussed the developments in Syria and the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the ceasefire and implementing the agreements on the release of hostages.
