In almost every exchange of prisoners of war with the Russian Federation, there are persons who have the status of missing under special circumstances.
This was reported by the Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, Censor.NET informs.
Today, a meeting was held with the families of captured and missing servicemen from the 72nd separate mechanized brigade.
"Relatives of missing and captured servicemen were provided with information on the verification of Ukrainian servicemen held in captivity, as well as on the process of their return and the formation of lists, including those missing. The attendees were emphasized that almost every exchange of prisoners of war includes persons who have the status of missing under special circumstances," noted Lubinets.
