I agreed with Putin to work quickly to end horrible war in Ukraine – Trump

US President Donald Trump said that he had agreed with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on an "immediate ceasefire" on all energy and infrastructure in Ukraine.

He wrote about this on Truth Social, Censor.NET reports

"My phone conversation with Russian President Putin today was very good and productive. We agreed to an immediate ceasefire on all energy and infrastructure, with the understanding that we will work quickly to achieve a complete ceasefire and ultimately end this horrible war between Russia and Ukraine," Trump said.

He reiterated that Russia's invasion of Ukraine would never have happened if he had become US president earlier.

"Many elements of a Contract of Peace were discussed, including the fact that thousands of soldiers are being killed, and both President Putin and President Zelensky would like to see it end. This process is now in full force and effect, and I hope, for the sake of humanity, we get the job!" - Trump added.
