President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the conversation between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and emphasized that the latter does not want peace in Ukraine.

Asked by a journalist what would be the key message from Ukraine to President Trump after Russia effectively abandoned the 30-day comprehensive ceasefire, President Zelenskyy replied: "I would really like President Trump to hear and see what Putin wants. Putin wants to make several offensives in the Zaporizhzhia direction, in the east, in the Kharkiv and Sumy directions. Why? In order to put maximum pressure on Ukraine and then issue ultimatums from a position of strength."
