Zelenskyy on situation on border with Kursk region: Our military show that they are not surrounded. It is not Putin who decides when we should withdraw

Zelenskyy on control over compliance with the silence regime

Russia is concentrating troops near the Ukrainian border, in particular in the Kursk region, and is planning strikes on Sumy, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.

This was announced by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a video conference with journalists, Censor.NET reports.

"We see the accumulation of troops in the Kursk region. They want to attack Sumy, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. But we will not let them do it so easily," the President emphasized.

He noted that the Ukrainian army is conducting operations aimed at preventing further expansion of the Russian occupation.

Zelenskyy also denied the information spread on Russian social media about the alleged "encirclement" of the Ukrainian military.

"Our guys are standing there and showing that they are not surrounded. It is not Putin who decides when they should withdraw," he emphasized.

Speaking about the possibility of diplomatic solutions, Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine would support any initiatives that would help reduce the shelling, including if US President Donald Trump could help reach certain agreements.
