64 combat engagements took place in frontline, almost half of them in Pokrovsk direction – General Staff
As of 4 p.m., the total number of combat engagements at the front is 64.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
Today, the communities of Tymonovychi, Khrinivka, Prohres in the Chernihiv region; Stepok, Popivka in the Sumy region; and Vidrodzhenivske in the Kharkiv region suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire. The enemy also launched an air strike on the areas of Uhroidy, Myropillia, Turia, Mala Rybytsia, and Petrushivka in the Sumy region.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units once near Dvorichna. The fighting is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian occupiers carried out a bottom attack near Zahryzove.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the invading army launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions near Yampolivka and in the direction of Nove. One firefight is still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy is trying to advance in the direction of Oleksandro-Shultyne, the attack was repelled.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy is trying to break into our defense in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske and Dyliivka. Our defenders repelled six attacks by the invaders, three more attacks are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have made 29 attempts to push our soldiers from their positions near the settlements of Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Oleksiivka, and Andriivka. Defense forces are holding back the attack and repelled 24 attacks, five firefights are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assault attacks by enemy troops. The enemy tried to advance in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy is attacking the positions of our troops in the direction of Novopil, one combat engagement is underway.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers made two attacks in the direction of Stepove. The fighting is still ongoing. Yasna Poliana, Blakytne and Novoivanivka were subjected to air strikes by GABs.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has not conducted any offensive actions in the Prydniprovske direction, however, it did conduct air strikes on Burhunka and Vyrivka.
Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region
The operation in the Kursk region continues. Ukrainian soldiers repelled nine enemy attacks today, with four battles still ongoing. Moreover, the enemy's aviation carried out seven air strikes in this area, dropping eight GABs.
