76 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk and Kursk directions – General Staff

The situation in the north
Today, enemy artillery and mortar fire affected the communities of Khrinivka, Hirsk, Yeline, Karpovychi in the Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Bila Bereza, Kucherivka, Myropilske, Petrushivka, Hrabovske, Porozok in the Sumy region. The enemy also conducted an air strike on Medvedivka in Chernihiv region.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 7 times near Vovchansk and towards Mala Shapkivka. Four engagements are still ongoing. Kozacha Lopan came under an air strike.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupants carried out two attacks near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the invading army launched four attacks on Ukrainian positions near Yampolivka and in the direction of Nove. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy is trying to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar and Kurdiumivka. Two of the three attacks have already been repelled by the Defense Forces.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy is trying to break into our defense in the areas of Ozarianivka, Druzhba, Toretsk. Our defenders repelled 8 attacks by the invaders, four more attacks are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have made 18 attempts to push our soldiers from their positions near the settlements of Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Kotlyne, Preobrazhenka, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, Yasenove and Andriivka. Ukrainian defense forces held back the attack and repelled 17 attacks, with one firefight still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four assault attacks by enemy troops. The enemy is trying to advance in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attacked our troops' positions twice in the direction of Pryvilne and Vile Pole. Russian terrorists' aviation conducted three strikes in the areas of Huliaipole and Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupants carried out three attacks in the areas of Stepove and Shcherbaky. Two of them are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has unsuccessfully attacked three times in the Prydniprovske direction.
Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kursk region
The operation in the Kursk region continues. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 enemy attacks today. Moreover, the enemy's aviation carried out 13 air strikes in this area, dropping 17 GABs.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Siversk direction.
There were no significant changes in other directions.
