Zelenskyy and Costa discuss Ukraine’s participation in European rearmament initiative
On the evening of March 19, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with President of the European Council Antonio Costa ahead of tomorrow's European Council meeting.
According to Censor.NET, the head of state wrote about this in his telegram.
Zelenskyy thanked Costa for the invitation to participate. The interlocutors coordinated positions and discussed key issues on the agenda.
They also talked about Ukraine's participation in the ReArm Europe initiative, financing the purchase of ammunition, and steps to accelerate Ukraine's integration into the EU.
I am counting on support in unblocking the negotiation clusters.
"In addition, I informed President Costa about my constructive conversation with President Trump, during which I reaffirmed Ukraine's readiness to implement the unconditional US proposal for a ceasefire. The Ukrainian people want peace more than anyone else, and we are ready to work for it," the President noted.
