Zelenskyy and Trump discussed restoration of Zaporizhzhia NPP

During a telephone conversation between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump, they discussed issues related to the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
Zelenskyy told about this, Censor.NET reports citing Suspilne.
He told Trump that the de-occupation of ZNPP is not enough, as ‘there must be infrastructure’ - water supply and technical staff - to ensure that the plant brings money and electricity in a year and a half to two years.
"Trump asked if the US could restore the plant. I said yes, for example, you can invest money. We can discuss this, but we were talking about only one station that is under occupation," Zelenskyy explained.
He added that Russian leader Vladimir Putin "does not want a ceasefire while Ukrainian troops are in the Kursk region". He also noted that Ukraine will prepare special lists of energy facilities that "fit the energy infrastructure and other civilian infrastructure."
As a reminder, US President Donald Trump has provided details of a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that took place on 19 March.
During the conversation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump agreed to continue working together to achieve a real end to the war and establish a lasting peace.
