Russia wants to end the war in Ukraine by 2026 - Skibitskyi

Russia predicts the end of the war in Ukraine by 2026, as the prolonged confrontation makes it impossible for it to reach the level of the United States and China.
This was stated by Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, Moscow has developed a geopolitical forecast for 2026-2035, which provides for the end of the war in Ukraine by 2026. The military campaign should not drag on for another 5-10 years, as this will deprive Russia of the opportunity to catch up with the United States and China.
In addition, Russia has predicted 15 possible scenarios of military conflicts by 2045, six of which concern northern Europe. The Kremlin pays special attention to Poland, against which four scenarios of military conflict are envisaged.
"Northern Europe understands, so do the Baltic states. Poland understands. There are only four scenarios of possible military conflict in Poland. Poland now realizes that this is an immediate threat," the DIU representative said.
Skibitskyi emphasized that Ukraine's role is key in the formation of a new European security system, and its opposition to Russian aggression affects the Kremlin's strategic plans.
