Russian SRGs are trying to enter south of Sumy region, closer to Kharkiv region - SBS

Russian SRGs in Sumy Region. How Russia’s tactics have changed

Border guards are recording attempts by Russian subversive groups to enter Ukrainian territory in the south of the Sumy region.

This was stated by SBS spokesman Andrii Demchenko during a telethon, Censor.NET reports.

"The activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups continues in the Sumy direction. If earlier we recorded more attempts of enemy subversive and reconnaissance groups to enter the north of Sumy region, closer to Chernihiv region, over the past few weeks we have also detected attempts of subversive groups to enter the south, closer to Kharkiv region," he said.

According to Demchenko, the soldiers are aware of the threats posed by Russia's subversive reconnaissance groups.

Such groups can be both smaller and large, the spokesman added.

"One of the most extreme groups, which was exposed within the Sumy region, consisted of about 15 saboteurs, who, among other things, were tasked with attacking Ukrainian positions on their own," he explained.
