The village of Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia is under the control of the Defense Forces, although enemy propaganda has been actively spreading fake news about its alleged capture.
This was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, in a comment to Ukrinform.
"The day before yesterday, enemy propaganda was actively spreading information that Russian troops had entered the village of Mali Shcherbaky. Having no victories, the enemy is trying to invent these victories and talks about them in the media. I officially declare that we have not lost a single position in Mali Shcherbaky, and this settlement is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," emphasized Voloshyn.
At the same time, the spokesman noted that the enemy is conducting active assault operations, trying to seize certain footholds and take control of several logistics routes leading from Zaporizhzhia to other parts of the Zaporizhzhia region.
