Situation in Lyman area is escalating, Russians almost occupied Terny – DeepState. MAP
Russian troops have almost completely occupied the village of Terny in the Lyman community of the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by analysts of the DeepState project.
As noted, the enemy is actively exerting pressure on Yampolivka, had an advance in Terny and in fact almost completely occupied the village.
This didn’t happen suddenly — Russian troops had frequently been observed on the southern outskirts of Terny, attempting to take cover and establish positions in houses and tree lines. There were numerous videos showing the Defense Forces targeting them with vehicles, drones, and artillery. Unfortunately, the constant pressure yielded results, and the enemy has moved even closer to Yampolivka.
Notably, the first advances toward Yampolivka occurred well before Terny was taken from the village’s northeastern flank.
Now, Russian forces are pushing in from the southeast and trying to disrupt logistics to Yampolivka via the road coming from Torske.
The situation poses a serious threat to units holding this sector for years, particularly the 60th and 63rd SMB (Separate Mechanized Brigades), the statement said.
Analysts also report an escalation of the situation around Ivanivka, on the right bank of the Zherebets River.
The enemy is exerting pressure on Katerynivka, approaching the village closely and attempting to establish a foothold in the area.
Simultaneously, Russian forces are trying to advance toward the settlements of Nove and Zelena Dolyna. Fighting is ongoing.
