Ukraine may receive as much ammunition this year under Czech initiative as last year – Fiala

Fiala on the Czech initiative

As part of the Czech initiative, in 2025, Ukraine may receive the same amount of ammunition as in 2024.

According to Censor.NET, citing Reuters, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said this after the summit in Paris.

"The Czech initiative to supply ammunition to Ukraine can deliver at least as many shells in 2025 as it did last year," Fiala said.

It is worth recalling that in February, the Czech Ministry of Defense reported that an initiative launched last year by the Czech government and funded by a number of NATO allies had provided Ukraine with 1.5 million pieces of artillery ammunition.
