Negotiations with Putin are like ping-pong. Ukraine is ready to talk to someone who will represent Russia – Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that negotiations with the Kremlin dictator resemble ping-pong, so Ukraine will agree to talk to anyone who can represent Russia, including business representatives.

The head of state said this during a briefing on March 28, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"It's like ping-pong - what Putin says. It is not always possible to get an answer. I think that in principle we would agree to talk not with him, but with someone who would represent Russia. Russia has businesses, they have many regions, including some serious business areas. I think we would communicate with them if they have a vision to end the war, if they are ready to go against the fact that Putin does not want to end (the war)," Zelenskyy said.

According to the President, in his opinion, there is opposition to the Kremlin leader in Russia.

"I think maybe they will not be afraid if Europe, America, Ukraine are ready to talk to the opposition," the president added.

The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready for any format of negotiations with the Russian side.
