157 combat engagements took place in frontline, 72 of them in Pokrovsk direction – General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 10:00 p.m., 157 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The enemy launched one missile and 73 air strikes on the positions of our troops and settlements, using five missiles and 133 guided aerial bombs, 1028 strikes by kamikaze drones, and carried out more than 4500 artillery attacks.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
Four enemy assaults took place in the areas of Vovchansk and Kamianka in the Kharkiv direction.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy tried three times to force our units out of their positions near Zahryzove and in the direction of Bohuslavka.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times, trying to advance in the areas of Nadiia, Yampolivka and in the direction of Hrekivka, Nove, Novomykhailivka, Zelena Dolyna. Nine combat engagements are currently underway.
In the Siversk direction, our troops successfully stopped one attack near Ivano-Darivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces stopped four enemy attempts to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora and Predtechyne.
The enemy tried 20 times to break into our defense in the Toretsk direction, in the area of Toretsk and in the directions of Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka. Two combat engagements are currently ongoing.
Intense enemy attacks are taking place in the Pokrovsk direction. The aggressor made 72 assault and offensive attacks there during the day. Russian invaders are active in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and in the direction of Kalynove, nine combat engagements are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian troops have neutralized 364 occupiers in this direction today, 221 of them - eliminated. Our defenders also destroyed a tank, eight vehicles, seven motorcycles, two armored infantry vehicles, an electronic warfare system, a self-propelled artillery unit, a cannon, a mortar and two enemy control points. Two vehicles, three motorcycles, two cannons and one tank were also heavily damaged.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders stopped 15 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, and Dniproenerhiia.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy conducted four assault operations in the vicinity of Pryvilne. Defense forces successfully stopped all enemy attacks. Novopil, Novodarivka, Huliaipole and Zaliznychne were attacked by air.
Eight combat engagements took place in the Orikhiv direction, with the enemy trying to advance towards Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Kamianske and north of Nesterianka. The settlements of Kamianske and Novoandriivka were subjected to air strikes.
Two combat engagements with the enemy took place in the Prydniprovske direction. The enemy launched an air strike on the Kozatske area.
AFU operation in Kursk region
Fourteen combat engagements took place in the Kursk direction today. During the day, the enemy made 288 artillery attacks, including 16 from multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out 22 air strikes, dropping 35 guided bombs.
