AFU strike at Pogar border crossing point in Bryansk region: up to 40 occupiers eliminated – General Staff

Defense forces strike at Pogar border crossing point in Bryansk region

On March 27, 2025, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck the Pogar border checkpoint near Sluchovsk, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. From this location, the enemy launches "Shaheds" into the territory of Ukraine.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that as a result of the attack, the military infrastructure of the checkpoint was destroyed, along with communications and electronic warfare equipment, a video surveillance system and other technical means. According to preliminary information, 15 to 40 occupants were eliminated.

"This airstrike was a response to the cynical actions of the army of the aggressor state, which continues to wage terror against Ukraine by launching dozens of attack drones daily at populated areas, destroying civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, killing Ukrainian civilians," the command emphasized.

It is known that Russian UAVs have been repeatedly launched from the Pohar location. The destruction of this checkpoint reduces the enemy's potential to conduct hostilities against the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Sumy region and in the Kursk direction.
