Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Over the past day, 183 firefights were recorded.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using five missiles and 94 air strikes, dropping 179 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,899 attacks, including 145 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,853 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Uhroydy, Naumivka, Miropilske, Krasnopillia, Petrushivka, Prokhody in the Sumy region; Novopil in the Donetsk region; Kamianske, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; Kozatske in the Kherson region.
Fighting in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried four times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders near Vovchansk and towards Kamianka.
Three attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy's assault in the area of Zahryzove and in the direction of Bohuslavka.
Fighting in the East
The enemy attacked in the Lyman sector 16 times. He tried to break into our defense near Nadiya, Yampolivka, and in the direction of Hrekivka, Novyi, Novomykhailivka, and Zelena Dolyna.
In the Siversk sector, our troops successfully stopped one enemy attack near Ivano-Darivika.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked four times in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora and Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the area of Toretsk and in the direction of Diliivka and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 73 aggressor's assault attacks in the areas of Panteleymonivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and towards Kalynove.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, and Dniproenergia yesterday.
Situation in the South and North
In the Huliaypillia sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped four attacks near Pryvilne.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces eight times towards the settlements of Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Kamianske, and north of Nesterianka.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, our defenders successfully stopped two enemy attacks.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian defense forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 28 air strikes, dropping 44 guided aerial bombs, and fired 371 times, 16 of them from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 14 invaders' assaults.
Strikes against the enemy
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1740 people over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized 23 tanks, 34 armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, three air defense systems, 164 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, and 118 occupant vehicles.
