Enemy attacked on 40 motorcycles in one of directions - "Khortytsia" OSGT
Russian troops in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia OSGT launched an attack against our troops on one of the directions. There is a tendency to strengthen the role of light vehicles at the front.
This was stated by the spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Troops Viktor Trehubov during a telethon, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
"There is a tendency to strengthen the role of light weapons... In one of our areas, there was an attack involving 40 motorcycles," he said.
According to the spokesman, the Russians are now actively using motorcycles, ATVs, buggies and other vehicles that help to quickly move personnel. Thus, the occupiers are trying to quickly occupy Ukrainian positions, avoiding drones.
"The very transition to the active use of motorized vehicles is strange, it has never happened before. It was during the winter that we started to see this. Another innovation over the winter was the use of anti-drone nets. We also use them, but in limited quantities," Tregubov said.
He also added that one of the main trends that has emerged at the front over the winter is the use of fiber-optic drones.
