Ukraine is potentially capable of producing 5 million FPV drones per year, - Kamyshyn
Currently, 85% of all fire damage at the front is caused by drones. Almost half of the weapons at the front are produced in Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET with reference to Espresso, this was stated by the Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshyn.
"We are actually in the middle of the first world drone war," Kamyshyn said.
According to him, 85% of all fire damage at the front is caused by drones. During the years of the invasion, Ukraine managed to overtake Russia in terms of drone production.
He also said that one of the domestic manufacturers is capable of producing 4,000 FPV drones per day.
"There are more than 150 manufacturers (of FPV drones) in the country," Kamyshyn added.
He emphasized that Ukraine is potentially capable of producing 5 million FPV drones a year. According to him, last year, due to lack of funding, Ukrainian manufacturers produced more than 2 million units.
"We are approaching the point where half of what we are fighting with at the front is produced in Ukraine," Kamyshyn added.
