Best guarantee of security for Ukraine is brave Ukrainian army, - Sikorski
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski believes that the best guarantee of Ukraine's security is its own Armed Forces, which will ensure security in the event of a ceasefire with Russia.
He said this in an interview with TVN 24, Censor.NET reports.
"The biggest, best guarantee of Ukraine's security is a brave and well-equipped Ukrainian army," Sikorski said.
The Polish diplomat noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are "the largest army in Europe on our side" and they have experience in a new type of warfare "involving millions of drones."
Regarding Poland's participation in the formation of a European "deterrence force" that could be sent to Ukraine to prevent a repeat Russian attack, the Polish foreign minister said that "Poland will be in this coalition, but not physically in Ukraine itself."
He added that this concept is "still being finalized" in London and Paris.
