Putin signs decree on spring conscription to Russian army: 160,000 people are to be drafted
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the spring conscription to the Russian army. As part of the draft, the Kremlin plans to recruit 160 thousand Russians.
This is reported by the Russian media, Censor.NET reports.
"To carry out from April 1 to July 15, 2025, a call-up for military service of citizens of the Russian Federation aged 18 to 30 years who are not in the reserve and are subject to military service in accordance with the Federal Law of March 28, 1998. Nº 53-F3 "On Military Duty and Military Service" to be called up for military service, in the amount of 160,000 people," the decree says.
