Zelenskyy: More than 183 thousand Russian crimes have been recorded. Perpetrators must be held accountable

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

As of today, more than 183 thousand crimes related to Russian aggression have been recorded in Ukraine.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a speech at the summit of parliamentary chairmen, Censor.NET reports citing I-U.

"More than 183 thousand crimes related to the aggression of the Russian Federation have already been recorded. And this is without access to a significant part of the temporarily occupied territory of our country. There are still thousands, maybe tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of crimes. And definitely tens of thousands of losses," Zelenskyy said.

He recalled the tragedies in Bucha, Mariupol, Yahidne village in the Chernihiv region and emphasized that Ukraine remembers every blow and every abuse suffered by prisoners of war and civilians.

The President emphasized that the responsibility for these crimes lies not only with the Russian state, but also with the individual perpetrators, each of whom must be punished for everything they have done.

Zelenskyy also called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia, including through sanctions, to prevent further escalation of violence. He emphasized the importance of unity in bringing the aggressor to justice and called on parliamentarians to support Ukraine's struggle for a just peace.

"This is what can happen in any European country if our unity does not work now for the sake of Russia's real responsibility for this war," the President summarized.
