Zelenskyy on meeting of countries ready to deploy a contingent in Ukraine

On Friday, April 4, a meeting of military teams of those countries that are ready to deploy a contingent in Ukraine will take place.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint briefing with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, Ukrinform reports, Censor.NET cites.

"As for the issue of the contingent, we will have a meeting on Friday of military teams from several countries, a narrow circle, those who are ready to deploy the contingent (in Ukraine - ed.) in one form or another. Because there is a land part, an air part, and a presence at sea. This will be the first in-depth meeting there have been consultations before. I think we will see some explanations, some details," the Head of State said.

The President noted that it would be "the first in-depth meeting".

"There have been consultations, but this will be the first in-depth meeting. We will see some clarifications and some details. It is important that it will be based on the prepared proposals of the Ukrainian side," Zelenskyy said.

Earlier, Zelenskyy said that within a week Ukraine would hold a meeting in a narrow circle of representatives of the General Staffs of the main countries that are ready to send a military contingent to the country.
