Macron comments on Le Pen’s sentence: law is same for everyone
French President Emmanuel Macron commented on the sentence to the leader of the National Front Marine Le Pen.

Government spokeswoman Sophie Primas said that the French leader emphasized three key points - that "justice is independent."
Macron also said that threats against the judges involved in the case were unacceptable.
"Everyone has the right to equal justice and that the law is the same for everyone," she quoted the president as saying.
As a reminder, the leader of the National Front, Marine Le Pen, was sentenced to four years in prison in France - two years suspended and two years of arrest with an electronic bracelet.
