Ministry of Defense has improved work of Military Science Council: modern scientific approaches and combat experience are taken into account
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has approved an updated Regulation on the Military Science Council. This is a permanent advisory body of the Ministry of Defense on the development of military science, planning, financing and coordination of scientific and scientific and technical activities.

Tasks and procedure of the Council's work
"Clarification of the tasks and improvement of the Council's working procedure will allow us to more effectively apply a scientific approach to substantiate the most important decisions in the activities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service. We will strengthen the development of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, weapons and military equipment, taking into account modern scientific approaches and real combat experience. In the near future, the updated composition of the Council will be approved," said Volodymyr Mirnenko, Director of the Military Education and Science Department of the Ministry of Defense.
Composition of the Military Science Council
The Military Science Council will now be headed by a specialized Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine. It will also include the Director of the Department of Military Education and Science, representatives of structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense and military command and control bodies, scientific institutions, higher military educational institutions, military educational subdivisions of higher education institutions that fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine according to a certain list.
The MSC will be organized into three sections to address topical issues in a timely manner :

on military-theoretical problems;

on the problems of military-technical policy;
- on the development of the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
