Russian Federation is attacking most in Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kursk directions - General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine
As of 2 April 2025, the Ukrainian Defense Forces had 216 combat engagements with the Russian occupiers.

Russia's strikes in Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes using two missiles and 85 air strikes, including 123 drones. In addition, it carried out almost 6,400 attacks, including 107 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,377 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Turia, Ugroydy, Mykhailivske, Petrushivka, Miropilske in the Sumy region; Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region; Pokrovsk, Yablunivka, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Malynivka, Nova Poltavka, Hrodivka, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Novopavlivka, Krasna Polyana, Iskra, Odradne, Novopil in the Donetsk region; Zaliznychne, Hulyaypole, Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Defeat of the occupiers
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces hit eight areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment, a UAV control centre, and an enemy artillery system.
Kharkiv region
Two firefights took place in the Kharkiv sector yesterday in the vicinity of Vovchansk and in the direction of Kamianka.
Four occupants' attacks were registered in the Kupiansk sector over the last day. Ukrainian defense forces repelled the enemy's assault in the vicinity of Zahryzove and Nova Kruhlyakivka.
Fighting in the East
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 21 times. It tried to advance near Nadiya, Torske, Novoiehorivka, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Novoliubivka, and Dibrova.
In the Siversk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled five hostile assaults in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnekamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy conducted six attacks in the area of Chasiv Yar and towards Novomarkove, Stupochky, and Predtechyne yesterday.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 28 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Ozarianivka, Diliyivka, Krymske, and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 80 aggressor attacks in the areas of Panteleymonivka, Sukha Balka, Shevchenko, Vodiane Druhe, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, and Andriivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Dniproenerhia, Vesele, and Burlatske.
South
In the Huliaipillia sector, near Pryvilne and Novosilka, the Ukrainian Defence Forces successfully repelled five enemy attacks.
In the Orikhivsk sector, near the settlements of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske, and Novodanylivka, the invaders made 12 attacks on the positions of our defenders.
Yesterday, in the Prydniprovske sector, the aggressor tried to advance to the positions of our defenders five times.
Kursk region
Our troops repelled 28 enemy attacks in the Kursk sector yesterday. The enemy launched 343 artillery attacks, five of them from multiple launch rocket systems, carried out 20 air strikes, dropping 31 drones.
North
No signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia sectors were observed.
