Corruption in Ukraine: almost half of citizens believe that situation has worsened - KIIS poll. INFOGRAPHICS

Corruption remains one of the key concerns of Ukrainian citizens.
This is evidenced by the data of the KIIS survey, Censor.NET reports.
The study was conducted in 2024.
For example, 95% of citizens named war as the main problem of the past year. At the same time, 92% said corruption.
Another 88% said the cost of living was high and salaries were low, and 83% said the government was uncontrolled.
49% of respondents believe that the level of corruption in Ukraine has increased, 35% believe that it has not changed, and 5% say it has decreased.
At the same time, 60% of Ukrainians said that corruption is very widespread in Ukraine.
KIIS conducted the survey in June-August 2024 among more than 10,000 respondents aged 18 and older from 20 regions of Ukraine by face-to-face interviews. The margin of error does not exceed 1.5%.
Also, 1,000 IDPs in 20 regions and 2,000 asylum seekers abroad were interviewed.
