General Staff: 77 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk and Lyman directions
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 77 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
Border settlements continue to suffer from shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, in particular: Starykove, Shalyhine, Popivka, Stepok, Prokhody, Marine, Velykyi Prykil in the Sumy region. In addition, the enemy conducted air strikes near the settlements of Turia, Uhroidy, Myropilske, Prokhody in the Sumy region.
Hostilities in Kharkiv region
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders once near Zahryzove.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked 13 times - near Nadiia and in the direction of Novoplatonivka, Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Ridkodub and Nove. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Siversk direction.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are currently repelling one attempt by the occupiers to advance in the Kurdiumivka area. Two combat engagements near Chasiv Yar were successfully stopped by our defenders.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked 8 times near Dachne, Shcherbynivka and Toretsk. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made 30 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Kalynove, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, as well as in the directions of Kotlyarivka and Serhiivka. Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled 25 attacks, five combat engagements are still ongoing.
Today, in the Novopavlivka direction, our troops repelled five enemy attacks near Kostiantynopil and Skudne. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the invaders launched air strikes on Voskresenka, Zelene Pole, Novopole, Malynivka and Huliaipole.
Ukrainian troops stopped three enemy attacks in the Orikhiv direction near Mali Shcherbaki.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Prydniprovske direction.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation in Kursk Region
In the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian defenders repelled six Russian attacks, and three more clashes are still ongoing. The enemy has launched three air strikes since the beginning of the day, dropping a total of three guided aerial bombs and 162 artillery shellings on our troops' positions and settlements.
The situation did not change significantly in other frontline areas.
