UN Security Council to meet over Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih - Sybiha

Ukraine has initiated an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council because of the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih.

This was announced on X by Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Censor.NET reports citing European Pravda.

According to the minister, Ukraine has initiated an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council and a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council "to draw attention to Russian crimes."

"Both meetings will take place tomorrow (April 8 - Ed.) and will contribute to the advancement of peace efforts and bringing the perpetrators to justice," Sybiha added.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that Ukraine demands strong condemnation and decisive action by the international community.

"Russia must stop the terror against Ukrainian children and civilians, respond to the US proposal for a complete ceasefire, which Ukraine has accepted, and end the war," he concluded.

Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on April 4, the occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih. As of April 7, there are 20 dead, including 9 children, and more than 60 injured. A three-day mourning period will be held in Kryvyi Rih due to the Russian missile strike. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the search and rescue operation at the site of the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih is over.
