DPA has already signed contracts for more than UAH 200 billion in 2025. Focus is on technology - Ministry of Defense

In the first quarter of 2025, the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA), a procurement agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, signed contracts for more than UAH 200 billion.

This is reported by the Ministry of Defense, Censor.NET reports.

"The focus is on technologies that give results today," he said.

Drones, electronic warfare, ground robotic systems:

• 279 contracts worth UAH 77.2 billion have already been signed in these areas.

Ammunition:

• We continue systematic procurement of artillery shells and mortar rounds.

First-line brigades:

• In the first quarter, UAH 12.3 billion was allocated directly to combat units - for drones, electronic warfare equipment, and vehicles for mobile groups.

Umerov emphasized: "At the same time, we are improving the procurement system itself. Our goal is maximum transparency and maximum efficiency:

- for the army to receive the best

- and manufacturers have clear, predictable conditions for development."

"We are working to make the Ukrainian army strong, modern and technologically advanced," Umerov added.
