State Department confirms Brink’s resignation

The US State Department has officially confirmed that Bridget Brink is resigning as US Ambassador to Ukraine.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Suspilne.
"She has been the ambassador to Ukraine for three years, which is a long time in a war zone. She is returning home. Yes, she is. So it's official," said State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce.
When asked whether the ambassador was pressured or instructed not to mention Russia in the context of the attacks on Ukraine, Bruce said she was not aware of anything like that.
As a reminder, on April 5, U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink commented on the strike on Kryvyi Rih but did not mention Russia.
In response, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed disappointment with the U.S. Embassy's reaction to the attack on Kryvyi Rih: "Unfortunately, the response from the U.S. Embassy is disappointing: such a strong country, such a strong nation — and such a weak reaction. They’re even afraid to say the word ‘Russian’ when speaking about the missile that killed children."
