Over 5 thousand attacks carried out by invaders within month - General Staff
From March 11 to April 11, Russian troops carried out 5124 attacks.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
"Today marks exactly one month since Russia refused to accept the full and unconditional ceasefire proposed by the American side in the negotiations. Continuing their unprovoked armed aggression against Ukraine, Russian occupants carried out 5124 attacks during this time, from March 11 to April 11," the statement said.
The General Staff also noted the number of enemy attacks on each of the front lines:
- Kharkiv sector – 130;
- Kupiansk sector – 206;
- Lyman sector – 627;
- Siversk sector – 149;
- Kramatorsk sector – 140;
- Toretsk sector – 666;
- Pokrovsk sector – 1,739;
- Novopavlivka sector – 398;
- Huliaipole sector – 152;
- Orikhiv sector – 179;
- Prydniprovske sector – 59;
- Kursk sector – 679.
"During the armed aggression, the enemy’s losses for this period amounted to: personnel – 42,511 (including over 21,000 killed); tanks – 286; armored combat vehicles – 721; artillery systems – 1,757; multiple launch rocket systems – 50; air defense systems – 29; UAVs – 2,796; missiles – 16; vehicles – 3,684; special equipment – 24; helicopters – 4," the General Staff reported.
It is also noted that Russian occupying forces have involved units of the North Korean armed forces, with a total strength of over 12,000 troops. Losses of this DPRK contingent (since the start of operations in the Kursk area) amount to approximately 4,000 personnel, including more than 3,000 wounded. Of the four nominal North Korean brigades, one has been effectively destroyed and three have lost combat capability.
