Voting in elections via Diia is unrealistic – Stefanchuk

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk believes that it is currently unrealistic to organize the electoral process through the Diia app.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to Hromadske.
According to Stefanchuk, nowadays, some of the most modern security methods can be bypassed with the help of dipfakes, which makes voting in Diia look unrealistic.
"We need to understand that this can only be done when it is 300% guaranteed that it will be technologically reliable and accepted by society. If this is not the case, it is just a field for manipulations, accusations of each other that someone is trying to push this through, so I think we need to be frank that this is not a legal issue, it is a technological issue," Stefanchuk said.
Regarding the potential elections, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada also noted that it would be "mathematically" impossible to hold presidential, parliamentary, and local elections simultaneously, as the presidential election alone could be held in two rounds.
Earlier, the head of the Central Election Commission, Oleh Didenko, said that it would take more time to prepare for the post-war parliamentary elections than the law currently provides.
