Ukraine can produce up to 10 million FPV drones year - Smetanin, head of Ministry of Strategic Industry

Ukrainian enterprises can produce up to 10 million FPV drones per year.
This was stated by the Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin, Censor.NET reports citing LIGA.net.
The official said that in 2024, Ukraine produced 2.2 million units of FPV drones, and this year the country's manufacturers "increased their volumes even more."
At the same time, Smetanin noted, the most important thing is not the increase in the number, but the localization of components for drones that are already being manufactured in Ukraine. We are talking about motors and initiation boards, and Ukraine has also begun to assemble cameras for FPV drones, the minister added.
"Therefore, we have a qualitative breakthrough in this area," the minister concluded.
