General Staff: 126 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk and Lyman directions
Since the beginning of this day, as of 10:00 p.m., 126 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders conducted 56 air strikes, dropping 56 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used more than 900 kamikaze drones and fired about 5,000 times at the positions of our troops and settlements.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy has conducted two offensives in the direction of Kamianka since the beginning of the day.
In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor attacked in the areas of Holubivka, Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove, where Ukrainian defenders stopped seven enemy attempts to advance.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 24 times in the vicinity of Nadiia, Hrekivka, Nove, Katerynivka, Zelena Dolyna and Yampolivka.
In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled six attacks by the occupying forces near the localities of Ivano-Darivka and Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders near Kurdiumivka, Chasiv Yar and Orikhovo-Vasylivka. The defense forces repelled three attacks.
Russians stormed the positions of Ukrainian units fourteen times in the Toretsk direction, in the areas of Dachne, Druzhba and Toretsk. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy attacked in the areas of Kalynove, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Pishchane, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Nadiia and Andriivka. Our defenders stopped 32 enemy assaults, and one more firefight is still ongoing. According to preliminary data, 347 invaders were neutralized in this direction today, 105 of them were killed. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed one armored combat vehicle, two artillery systems, 17 vehicles, three special vehicles, an electronic warfare system, and a UAV control center; three artillery systems and three vehicles were also damaged.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops five times in the areas of Rozlyv and Rozdolne. Two combat engagements are currently underway.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, there were three combat engagements with the enemy near the settlements of Pryvilne, Novosilka and Burlatske.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted four offensives in the area of Mali Shcherbaky. Ukrainian troops repelled all attacks.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders seven times, but was unsuccessful.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation in Kursk Region
Since the beginning of the day, 17 firefights have taken place in the Kursk direction, two of which are still ongoing; the invading army also fired 259 times, including 21 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
